When the school doors opened this year, thousands of economically disadvantaged had the tools they needed for success due to Spring Branch Education Foundation’s Project School Supplies.

Generous donors provided more than $113,000 to fund backpacks and supplies to more than 40 Spring Branch ISD campuses, from our littlest pre-kindergarten students to our high school campuses.

59%, or nearly 20,000 students, in SBISD are considered economically disadvantaged.  These students have families who make difficult choices on where to use their resources, and pencils, pens, notebooks, and highlighters are not always near the top of the list.

While we have benefitted from generous donors to meet the need for the beginning of the school year, we need additional funds to ensure we can meet ongoing needs during the school year and begin to make purchases for the next year.

$15 can provide school supplies for a student

$330 can provide school supplies for an entire classroom of elementary school students

$1,650 can provide school supplies for an entire elementary school grade level
